I have try some way to present the page in photoshop,
cuz that image is quite colourful and busy, therefore i
try to make the background in black n white and keep the image in 2 colurs.

Industry scavenger hunt

Today we went to farringdon joing the PPD project: Industry Savenger Hunt.There is a lot of graphic design companys and studio around the area, therefore, its a good place to doing this project.

We have to visit graphic design companys, interview one design, take picture of the working area and get a name card from different companys in a group.

Well, i have to said its not a easy job, especially for the people using English as their second lauguage. In our group, we try alot of companys, but most of them are too busy to talk to us.

But we still got 2 business cards and took some photo in a design company.

In my opinion, i really dont like this project, but i do think that is a good experience. We was to afraid to talk to people but when we start to do it, we feel that is not so difficult as we think. And we got chance to visited the professional design office and alot of information about what kind of design around the area. I think its really help for we get a work placement, but i really dont want to do that again.

Improved project

According my development plan, i need to consider about the problem about print and publish, that is mean the work i done before is difficult to print in amount. Therefore i try to print out the colour instead of stick colour paper.

experiment different shape and format to present the colour.

bookbinding workshop

Today i had a book binding workshop, its really good!!

We try 2 way to binding books today, stitching book and perfet bound book.

Stitching book:
after folded the paper , we stitching together and make bookcover, then stick the book and cover together, its done!!



Perfet bound book:
we make the pages with french and put in the perfet bound machine( i really want to have one!!).

After school, i still very exciting, so i back home to used all the pretty paper that i got and make more books. An i made 4 books today!!

about my book

After i have been research about my topic"copy", i had problem about what image and text should i looking for, so i start it over.

At the first i list something that i have interest and than pick some that i can easy to find the imgae and than choose the topic and also intesesting people, at least i got 2 topic: window display and nail art.


After i do the reseach for both of them, i decide to focus on one topic, window display. I had reseach the image of Selfridge's, Harvey Nichols, Harrods, Fortnum and Mason's and other store in hight street.


In the end, i can find more image about Selfridge's window display and that will be my main topic.


When i discuss my idea with tutor, he give me alot of suggest and lead me to explore more interest idea for my topic. After that, i got a specific topic is : 5 steps to make your window display like Selfridge's.

new project briefing

Pass on your passions

Basically, i have make a 20-40 page book that will be a persuasive argument for both my subject and my design skills.

I need to create a book that would interest art directors, designers and the people of the creatibe industy. All the content must have been found online, after i finished the book, upload to blurb.

All day briefing

Today, we have to think about 10 interesting topic we would like to look about, and try to make it more attractive. In the end of the day, i chose a topic take i would like to make and do the research.

My idea is "copy".

Its new year's eve, i went to London eye with my friend for the firework, just like last year, i cant believe that times going so fast.




well, that is the queue for the F_cking toilet and i have been waitting for 1 hour and 46 minutes.


but the fireworks are realy amazing.

after that, it was snowing...how romatic!!

It is really fun in new year, people are got together and wait.
There are also a lot of crazy people on the street, we saw a man is try to steal the car from the police.

and some crazy people broke the car in hight street, too many people got drank that day and we all got a good time.
